Food can become a bane and boon at times. The number of adults and children who go hungry everyday is enormous. Taking a look at Indian households, whether it’s a joint family or a nuclear one. a couple or a person residing alone…there is always some quantity of food that goes to waste. 
With the changing times and economy, people also have the option of ordering in food from various services like Zomato, Swiggy, Food Panda to name a few. During the time of our grandparents, food was always eaten together at the dining table and given to people who needed it. 
People in this day and age are caught up with work and their busy lifestyle that it is quite difficult to find time to do something for a bigger and better cause.
"To bring about a change in food wastage and to help those in need"
Preliminary  Idea

A system that involves tracking the date of cooked food in the refrigerator by the use of cameras as well as an app that analyses the data from the camera. Food prepared less than two days ago according to the app can be donated by the user at any food bank center.
Plan of Action

Technical and software help to create a system by which cameras can be placed inside the refrigerator which posts photographs into your photo library through an app. The app scans the position and time of the contents of the refrigerator and analyses how long each container has spent in the refrigerator at the same place. Each container is then color-coded and a new image is generated with the data. The user donates the containers of food which have been marked between eight hours and forty-eight hours. 

Samsung’s Family Hub is the smartest fridge designed so far, it can do what a fridge does and a lot more things.
